Hana 21st Century Community Learning Centers

Serving Hana High and Elementary School

Located on the Eastern side of Maui, The Hana Complex is a geographically isolated, rural K-12 school complex providing primary educational services for the communities of the Hana District, including Keanae, Hana, Kipahulu and Kaupo.

The Hana Complex has received a five-year 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CLC) grant starting in 2016. This grant supports 13 partner organizations that provide services to the students and families of the Hana complex, including experiential learning to promote career and college readiness. Partner programs are provided before school, after school, on weekends, and during intersession periods.
